Would you like to take a hike to a majestic mountain peak, or go for a summer swim in a pristine mountain lake? How about an evening horseback ride or watching a full moon from a hammock? Perhaps you’d like an evening of superb dining in an cozy restaurant.

All this is available to you in Graeagle. And in the winter, you can spend your time skiing, either downhill and cross-county, snowshoeing, and playing in the snow.

Literally hundreds of excellent hiking trails, including the Pacific Rim trail, pass within a few miles of Graeagle. From easy 1/2 mile lake walks to serious mountain treks, there is something for every adventurer here.

We keep a copy of Feather River Country Adventure Trails at our house. This excellent book describes and rates many local destinations.

There are four championship, 18-hole courses, and two 9-hole courses in or close to Graeagle. Neither of us golf, but we are told that Graeagle is a premiere destination for avid golfers. See the Graeagle Golf page for more information.

Public tennis courts are within walking distance of our house, and horseback riding is available at nearby Graeagle Stables.
